Air Canada announced wide ranging improvements in scheduled services to many of its Atlantic Canada destinations in time for planning vacations this coming summer. The additional flights, operated by Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz, will offer customers more choice and convenience with over 1,300 weekly flights – 100 more per week than last summer – serving Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

“With the arrival of new, modern and fuel-efficient aircraft in our North American fleet, Air Canada is now able to implement significant network improvements that will benefit consumers with more point-to-point, non-stop flights and enhanced schedules,” said Ben Smith, Vice President, Network Planning.

Flights have been added to accommodate demand early in the day as well as the opportunity for same-day return itineraries, and also convenient connection to Air Canada’s extensive domestic, North American and International network.
