Continental Airlines has expanded functions on its continental Web site to allow customers to check in for flights in Spanish. The new tool, which complements the site`s existing Spanish-language functionality, is part of Continental`s Latinization initiative for Spanish-speaking customers.
As the Hispanic online population increases, more Spanish speakers are turning to the Internet for information and services, said Gabriela Contreras, Continental Senior Analyst of Online Services, Electronic Marketing. Now our Spanish-speaking passengers can book their flights, check in online, select seat assignments and reduce their time in line at the airport.
Latin American and Caribbean destinations comprise more than half of Continental Airlines` international destinations.
