The Air West`s plane from Sudan carrying 103 passengers has successfully landed in Chad’s capital after a Sudanese citizen hijacked the plane asking political asylum from the French embassy according to carrier’s official.
The hijack took place in the Boeing 737 of Sudan domestic flights airline at 9 a.m (local hour) when an armed Sudanese asked from the pilot to land the plane in Chad’s capital.
“The plane has landed and the hijacker met with the French ambassador. All passengers are well in their health,” stated the commercial manager of Air West in Sudan.
