THAI Smile selects new flight attendants

THAI Smile, the new low-fare airline from Thai Airways International (THAI), has started the selection process for their first group of female flight attendants at the EDEN Zone in the Central World of Shopping Plaza, Bangkok.

My. Piyasvasti Amranand, President on THAI chaired the selection, which is the first step in the recruitment process. The interviews will commence in February, with service training for the Smart Crew taking place between April and May.

Mr. Armranand, comments: "Special thanks to Central World for hosting the venue on behalf of Thai Airways International (THAI). It is an exciting time for THAI and THAI Smile, who are now selecting the first generation of flight attendants to represent the brand character.



"Thai Airways International is offering THAI Smile, as a business unit that offers customers Premium Light flight services on short haul journeys. The THAI Smile brand character is reflective of the new generation of travellers who place importance on having more choices and value for money. "

THAI Smile Passengers can expect meal service, baggage allowance of up to 20 kilograms, and collect miles on the Royal Orchid Plus program.

THAI Smile will offer routes mainly to region cities, to China, and to India with tickets going on sale in April 2012. The Smart Crew can be seen on board THAI Smile from July 2012.
