TUI Travel PLC, one of the world’s leading leisure and travel companies and owner of Thomson and First Choice, has released an infographic demonstrating customer booking trends over the Winter 13/14 season across its major source markets.
The infographic was released alongside TUI Travel’s interim results statement and illustrates the trends, similarities and differences across the Group’s source markets for the Winter season. It shows top holiday destinations, average length of stay and most popular time to go away, across Europe and beyond.
Key highlights include:
- Canary Islands is no 1 destination for winter sun 2013/14
- Average length of stay for winter holiday is 9 days
- Most popular winter month to go is December
- Data showed Belgium first to book, while the Ukraine were the last.
