A new 224-bedroom Holiday Inn Express opened in the heart of Birmingham city centre.

The hotel, which is operated by hotel management company Interstate Hotels & Resorts, offers a selection of king, family and twin bedrooms, all of which offer free Wi-Fi and complimentary breakfast. The £23m transformation of Kennedy Tower into Holiday Inn Express follows a government-backed Business Premises Renovation Allowance (BPRA) scheme funded by Downing Corporate Finance.
