Donald Dubeau has been named general manager of the 159-room Delta Trois-Rivieres Hotel and Conference Centre. Previously, Dubeau was director of operations at Delta Centre-Ville in downtown Montreal. With more than 30 years’ industry experience-11 with Delta Hotels-Dubeau has also held positions with the former Canadian Pacific Hotels and Resorts, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Westin Hotels and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Dubeau replaces Richard Dubuc.



Peter Gillis is the new general manager of the all-suite Tantalus Resort Lodge, a year-round mountain lodge in Whistler, British Columbia, that is managed by Delta Hotels. For the last three years, Gillis was director of both food and beverage and hotel operations at the 415-room Delta Vancouver Airport. His 22-year career includes senior positions with Delta and the former Canadian Pacific Hotels and Resorts, as well as Radisson Hotels and Signature Resorts. Gillis replaces Eda Koot, now general manager of Delta Sun Peaks Resort.



Esa Paltanen has been appointed general manager of Delta Grandview Resort, the 130-suite resort in Huntsville, Ontario. Most recently, Paltanen was general manager of Delta Sherwood Inn, also in Muskoka, for four years. During that time, he established the distinctive property as a culinary destination, garnering praise from Ontario’s Vintner’s Quality Alliance and Wine Spectator Magazine, and was one of the original founders of Savour Muskoka, an alliance of local representatives that promotes Muskoka and the Parry Sound region as a dynamic culinary tourism destination. A past chair of Savour Muskoka, he currently serves as vice-chair.



His 24-year career includes various positions in food and beverage and operations with Delta, the former Canadian Hotels and Resorts and Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, as well as the Movenpick Restaurant at Eaton Centre and Roy Thomson Hall, both in Toronto.



Roger Tremblay has been named general manager of the 49-room Delta Sherwood Inn in Port Carling, Ontario. Formerly the director of food and beverage at Delta Toronto East, Tremblay brings more than 25 years’ of diverse experience, including executive chef positions with Delta and the former Canadian Hotels and Resorts at its Lake Louise, Banff and St. Andrews-by-the-Sea locations. Tremblay replaces Esa Paltanen, now general manager at Delta Grandview Resort.
