Golden Tulip Hospitality and The Westermeijer Group reinforce their cooperation through the signing of the third lease agreement in The Netherlands. The Company now manages 10 hotel in The Netherlands and 48 worldwide.



Golden Tulip has expanded its management portfolio adding the Golden Tulip Paterswolde in the group`s family. The Westermeijer Group has purchased the real estate from Koop Holding Europe B.V. Golden Tulip will be operating the hotel under a long term lease agreement.



The Golden Tulip Paterswolde-Groningen has been with Golden Tulip under a franchise agreement for over 6 years. The hotel has become the 10th hotel operated by Golden Tulip in the Netherlands and the 48th worldwide.



Mr. Johan Westermeijer, shareholder of the Westermeijer Group, states: I am very pleased to sign the third agreement with Golden Tulip Hospitality. In today`s climate, there is a strong need for rationalizing hotel operations and with the strong presence the Golden Tulip brand has in the Netherlands, I feel this acquisition will be in good hands to continue delivering positive returns and subsequently increase its property value.
