Hotusa Hotels reaches Cuba

Hotusa Hotels has made an entry into Cuba with the inclusion of their first two associated hotels. These are the Hotel Saratoga and the Hotel Telégrafo, two luxurious establishments of an urban character and classical style, located in Old Havana, the historical core of the Cuban capital.

With these two new additions, the Hotusa Group’s chain of independent hotels is now present in 44 countries and has reinforced its objective of increasing its international presence and diversifying its portfolio, both in the traditional destinations as well as in the emergent tourist markets at world-wide level.

Working in this direction, Hotusa Hotels disembarked at the beginning of the year in Venezuela, with the inclusion of their first associated hotel. In addition, during 2007, three more establishments have been added in China. In this context, Hotusa Hotels have the intention of continuing over the next few months with their expansion plans on the Asian continent, with new additions in China, given the enormous tourist interest that this destination arouses as host to the 2008 Olympic Games, as well as in India and other South-East Asian countries.

In addition to the Asian and Latin American debut, Hotusa Hotels have made their entrance throughout this year in another of the tourist areas with the greatest growth expectations: the Balkans. In May, the chain of independent hotels included the first associated establishment in Montenegro, while Croatia was added to the list in June, with five hotels.
