The Hotusa Group has purchased two four-star hotels in Mexico City, thus consolidating the expansion in this Latin American country that commenced at the end of 2005 with the acquisition of the Hotel Suites San Marino. The two new establishments, placed in the financial heart of the Mexican capital, are the Eurostars Zona Rosa Suites, which has been added at Eurostars Hotels`s portfolio, and the Hotel Suites Michelangelo, which has been joined at the exploitation hotels division of the Spanish company

In the words of the Hotusa Group chairman, Amancio Lopez, “With these two new additions, we are reinforcing our faith in Mexico, a destination that has meant the first incursion made by the company outside the European marketplace”. Because of its facilities, both the Eurostars Zona Rosa Suites and the Hotel Suites Michelangelo, “are a perfect complement to our other hotel in Mexico D.F. and they allow us to provide an important offer directed towards the business tourist market”, according to Lopez.

The company plans undertaking complete renovation of the hotel facilities before the end of the year in order to adapt them to the Eurostars Hotels standards. The Hotel Suites Michelangelo**** will thus become the first establishment of the chain outside the Old Continent.
