HPL Hotels & Resorts cease management at Rihiveli Beach Resort Maldives

Hotel Properties Limited has a strong presence in the Maldives, and will continue to focus on growing opportunities that can meet the ever-changing demands of savvy travellers.

SINGAPORE – HPL Resorts (Maldives) Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hotel Properties Limited (HPL), has disposed of its interest in M.A.T. (Maldives) Pvt Ltd, the owning company of Rihiveli Beach Resort Maldives to Castaway Maldives Pvt Ltd.

Since 2004, the resort has been managed by HPL Hotels & Resorts, a hospitality management company that is wholly-owned by Hotel Properties Limited. The island lease for the resort expires in end 2015.

Currently, the group has 5 other properties, namely Four Seasons Resort at Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru, Gili Lankanfushi Maldives, Six Senses Laamu and Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma.
