Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Asia Pacific’s luxury hotel group, celebrated recently the opening of Traders Hotel, Kunshan, in the fast developing Yangtze Delta economic zone. The hotel is the group’s 19th property in mainland China.
“Traders Hotel, Kunshan caters to the increasing demand for business hotels in the growing Yangtze River Delta region,” said GiovanniAngelini, chief executive officer and managing director of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts. “Since its ‘soft opening’ the hotel has achieved both the highest average room rate and highest usage of meeting facilities of any of the city’s hotels.”
