Radisson Blu announced Experience Meetings

Aptly named Brain Food, the culinary component of Experience Meetings was a collaboration between chefs and nutritionists from around the world, tasked with creating an elevated catering program that increases concentration and reduces fatigue through food.

MINNEAPOLIS, BRUSSELS and SINGAPORE – Radisson Blu announced the rollout of Experience Meetings, an exceptional meetings and events program, launching across the globe beginning in January 2014. Developed as a means to improve the effectiveness of meetings, the program will place a strong emphasis on innovations in food and beverage; changes to the spatial environment as well as advancements in meeting technology.

“We are thrilled to launch this new service for Blu properties globally. With Experience Meetings, guests around the globe can rely on a consistent product wherever their meeting needs may take them,” stated Rose Kutzli, vice president Branding, Radisson Blu. “With this program, professionals can tailor their meeting experience from a creative surrounding that benefits their respective learning styles to culinary offerings that stimulate the mind. This is the next generation of Radisson Blu meetings and events.”

Aptly named Brain Food, the culinary component of Experience Meetings was a collaboration between chefs and nutritionists from around the world, tasked with creating an elevated catering program that increases concentration and reduces fatigue through food. Focusing on The Six Brain Food Principles including use of locally sourced ingredients such as fish, whole grains, fruit and vegetables; with minimal processing and natural sweeteners, the experts produced a menu that helps stabilize and maintain a participants blood sugar levels, resulting in a higher cognitive function.

Brain Box is the ultimate think tank designed to boost creativity and inspire active engagement based on the four different learning styles: visual, kinesthetic, tactile and auditory. It creates an environment that stimulates teamwork and brain storming using bright colors, flexible furniture, and the latest in audio and visual technology. All conducive to a highly effective and tailored meeting.

In addition to Brain Food and Brain Box, Experience Meetings is interactive in nature, with a dedicated ‘One Touch’ application for smart phones allowing meeting planners’ exclusive access to hotel information; ability to post conference highlights; provide push changes and messages to participants and have direct contact with hotel staff and much more. Club CarlsonSM for Planners will provide an enhanced recognition and service for meeting planners where they can earn Club Carlson Gold Points per dollar spent on qualified purchases. It automatically purchases carbon credits that offset the estimated footprint for every meeting.

Formally recognized by GMIC as a leader in sustainable meetings, Radisson Blu’s Experience Meeting ensures a green approach to all global meetings and solidifies the brands dedication to reducing the carbon footprint. Supporting the green guarantee will be paperless meetings, an essential part of the Free Internet and Brain Box breakout room possibilities.

Free, fast and reliable Internet service at each Radisson Blu property will provide delegates with the luxury of connectivity. Responding to emails, obtaining information and staying socially connected will now be easier than ever. In addition to complimentary Internet, Experience Meetings will adhere to Radisson Blu’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, ensuring each meeting is exceptional.

Radisson Blu is recognized as one of the world’s leading upper upscale hotel brands. Acclaimed recent openings in the Americas include: the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel, Chicago and the Radisson Blu Resort Marina & Spa, St. Martin in late 2011; the Radisson Blu Mall of America in March 2013; as well as the forthcoming Radisson Blu Philadelphia and Radisson Blu Minneapolis hotels, which are slated to open in late 2013 and early winter 2014, respectively.
