Rezidor SAS signed an agreement for the development of a Park Inn hotel in Dundalk, Ireland and a Radisson SAS hotel in Cork.
Kurt Ritter, President & CEO, Rezidor SAS comments: We identified Ireland as an important growth market for Rezidor SAS and I am excited about the introduction of the Park Inn brand following the success of Radisson SAS.
The Park Inn Dundalk is located on the main Dublin – Belfast motorway, only one mile away from Dundalk city centre. The hotel is expected to open end of this year and will offer 84 rooms. Other facilities will include a restaurant, a pub and fitness facilities including a swimming pool and an outdoor sporting complex. The hotel will open in December this year.
The Radisson SAS in Cork, which will open early next year, is located at the entrance of Little Island business park, just off the Cork-Waterford motorway. The hotel will be built at Ditchley House and will offer 122 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and extensive conference facilities. The fitness facilities offer a fully-fledged spa.
Rezidor SAS currently includes 9 hotels in operation and under development in Ireland: Radisson SAS St. Helen`s hotel, Dublin; Radisson SAS hotel, Galway; Radisson SAS hotel, Letterkenny; Radisson SAS hotel, Limerick. Radisson SAS hotel, Athlone and Radisson SAS, Sligo will open this summer – while 2005 will see the opening of Radisson SAS Resort & Spa in Cavan.
