TravelTradeUK has signed TheBBH as a new client. TheBBH (The Best Boutique Hotels) is the First Quality Club that represents ‘only’ boutique hotels in Argentina and promotes them locally and in foreign countries. The BBH key differentiator is that they focus exclusively on boutique guests and hotels.
Due to a misuse of the term boutique, TheBBH has campaigned and established TheBBH to reinvent the boutique concept through the ‘boutiquier service’, regaining the lost prestige and providing a quick identification for those guests visiting Argentina. In this way TheBBH can ensure guests that their member hotels are authentic boutique hotels with a real boutique management.
To measure the boutiquier service, the following items have been taken into account: infrastructure, design, service, gastronomy, human resources, technology plus the Boutique management, where service and gastronomy are the key variables. All TheBBH members fulfil the ‘boutiquier service’ requirements. This ‘boutiquier service’ metric was designed in Argentina to identify boutique hotels in rural and city areas.
According to TheBBH, a boutique hotel should have a least three and no more than 30 rooms, offer personalized service, and serve fine food. It should also have a “magnificent”, “refined” or “classic” decor, technology such as Wi-Fi, professional personnel, and an infrastructure that makes it possible to enjoy the hotel as a unique, special place.
The boutiquier services are divided in Urban and Rural Boutiquier Services standards, and this is because in many rural areas of Argentina, one cannot find some services that are offered at cities, such as telecommunications, internet and accessibility.
