BCD M&E launches Assist, a generative AI tool, to empower its team

BCD Meetings & Events

BCD Meetings & Events introduces Assist, a generative AI tool aimed at increasing operational efficiency and data security while augmenting human expertise in event management.

CHICAGO – BCD Meetings & Events (BCD M&E) has introduced their newest technology innovation, Assist, a powerful proprietary Generative AI tool designed to transform the way their teams work. The tool encompasses the first phase of their launch of a robust suite of technology advances being released in the coming months that will create efficiencies in how they support clients.

Assist has been developed to enhance productivity, streamline processes and provide valuable assistance in day-to-day tasks. At the same time, it prioritizes responsible AI and the security and privacy of data and intellectual property.

“During this initial phase, we will be testing Assist capabilities across different regions, lines of business, and shared services teams. This will allow us to gather valuable feedback and insights to further refine and improve the tool, empowering our teams,” said Ted Stone, SVP, Global Technology & Products. “It’s important to note that Assist is designed to support and augment our work, not replace human creativity and expertise. It’s a collaborative tool that complements our skills and helps us achieve even greater results.”

Assist is the latest proprietary product to come under BCD M&E’s technology suite, as the company continues to invest and innovate in the area of meetings and events technology.

“We firmly believe that Assist has the potential to significantly enhance our efficiency and effectiveness, and we are excited to explore its possibilities,” said Bruce Morgan, Global President. “As we continue to invest in technology to empower our teams around the world, our focus will be on ensuring compliance and data security.”
