HVMG names Linda Philp Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG) has appointed Linda Philp, CPA, as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Philp brings extensive finance experience from various sectors, enhancing HVMG’s strategic financial operations and supporting its growth ambitions.

ATLANTA – Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), an Atlanta-based third-party hotel operator and investor, announced that the company has named Linda Philp, CPA, senior vice president & chief financial officer.  In her role, she will be responsible for the company’s accounting, financial reporting, tax, systems optimization/ technology and risk management functions.

“Linda brings with her a wealth of finance and accounting expertise that will not only provide support for our property-level general managers and directors of finance/controllers but will also serve as a valued strategic partner for our owners and investors,” said Robert Cole, CEO. “She is a big picture thinker and a hands-on leader, an ideal combination given our size to lead our finance and accounting functions.  Leveraging her experience across hotel, restaurant, service and distribution companies, Linda will further strengthen our finance and accounting infrastructure to support HVMG’s anticipated growth.”

Most recently, Philp was CFO of Universal Turbine Parts, LLC.  Prior service-industry CFO roles include Lodgian, Inc. and The Krystal Company.  Additionally, Philp previously worked for large consumer products brands including PepsiCo, Kraft General Foods, Pizza Hut and Campbell Soup.  A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Philp also received her MBA in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
