LAS VEGAS – Adelman Travel and TravelText kicked off the Concur Fusion 2013 conference by announcing a new partnership that will provide corporate customers of Adelman Travel with the ability to complete expense reports in Concur Expense in a matter of seconds via texting technology.
“This technology will provide our Concur Expense customers with a fully integrated solution that allows them to quickly and easily complete an expense report while on the road,” said Ivan Imana, Chief Information Officer of Adelman Travel. “For example, immediately after dinner a traveler can begin a Concur expense report via a text message. Then, with a few strokes on their phone, they can submit the expenses for dinner with attendees together with an image of the receipt, in a matter of seconds.”
The TravelText texting service is currently available only in the U.S. for customers and users of Concur Expense Systems, but will expand to Asia Pacific and other English-speaking countries in the near future. Adelman Travel is the first travel management company to partner with TravelText and sell their expense report texting solution, which is immediately available for purchase by Adelman’s customers.
“We’re really excited about the partnership with Adelman. Their innovative approach to the market and speed in which they adapt their business to it was a pleasant surprise,” said Jarl-Gunnar Lier, CEO of TravelText.
