Just announced, the closing keynote speaker for the Copenhagen Lecture on Wednesday afternoon, October 27th, will be the world famous Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, well known for his important role in the recent transformation of South Africa as chairperson of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
During the opening session on Monday, the CEO of South Africa Tourism and former High Commissioner of South Africa in the United Kingdom, Mrs. Cheryl Carolus, will speak about how South Africa, in less than a decade, moved from once to many an irrelevant destination to one of the meeting places of choice for the global conference industry.
On Tuesday afternoon, the leader of South Africa`s successful bid to win the 2010 FIFA Football World Cup, Danny Jordaan, will be sharing with delegates the secrets of South Africa`s success in winning world class events.
