Eos, the first airline focused since inception exclusively on the transatlantic business traveler, announced that it will step up its launch date of daily roundtrip service between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and London Stansted (STN) from November 1 to October 18. Eos received final certification from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and UK Department for Transport to enable it to begin commercial flights ahead of schedule.

Eos recently announced pricing for its premium service, with a basic unrestricted roundtrip price of $6,500. For a limited time, Eos is also offering a special introductory price of $5,000 round trip.

Eos not only moved expeditiously through the government certification processes, but has now met our own exacting standards that will allow us to deliver on our promise of unmatched service and the personal space to enable our guests to perform and revive. Thus, we are very pleased to be able to begin flights immediately, said David Spurlock, founder and chief executive officer of Eos. Passengers who choose Eos for their transatlantic journey will find that we`ve raised the bar on what business travelers should expect and deserve. The Eos experience – embodied in our service mind-set, the unique cabin configuration, innovative seat design with an unprecedented 21 square feet of space and lay-flat beds – is simply unrivaled in today`s market.
