Princess Cruises launches "The Campaign to Escape Completely"

Now through November 6, Princess Cruises is focusing on what it does best – offering consumers the opportunity to escape completely by giving away free Caribbean and West Coast Getaway cruises. Plus, the line is offering a chance to win a cruise on the new Royal Princess through games and sweepstakes.

SANTA CLARITA – From taxes to unemployment to the upcoming election, Princess Cruises is stepping in to help people get away from it all with the launch of “The Campaign to Escape Completely,” for a chance to win free cruises and gifts.

The light-hearted “anti-negativity” campaign was inspired by the line’s employees who wanted to play off the current election theme but instead spread some cheer and help people escape from the discouraging headlines. The campaign will feature a series of videos which are cast entirely with Princess Cruises employees who rally to deliver happiness and fun to passengers.

This initiative came from  our own employees’ passion to help our passengers escape completely,” said Jan Swartz, Princess Cruises executive vice president. “Part of the campaign is a series of social videos our employees created to spread some cheer, especially now when so much of the news is negative. In addition, we’ll surprise and delight consumers with free cruises and gifts to remind them that Princess Cruises offers THE best way to get away from the everyday and just relax.”
