Chamber of Architects of Turkey – Antalya Branch will organize the 2nd Tourism and Architecture Symposium between the dates 31 October / 1-2 November 2008 with the professional help of Baucon Yapex Organizations.
The opening ceremony and the thematic presentations of the symposium will take place at Antalya Expo Center, Baucon Yapex Meeting Hall on 31 October and will continue at Dedeman Hotel Antalya on 1 & 2 November 2008.
The first symposium was held in Antalya, in 2006, with the participation of important academicians from different cities of Turkey. This year the main theme of the symposium is “National Tourism Politics and Architecture”. Scientific committee of the symposium states the reason of choosing the main theme in these sentences; “During the first symposium, it’s often emphasized that the main reason of the problems is the lack of tourism politics to guide the practices in Turkey. It’s expressed that we need the politics which protects environmental, national and public benefits, develops tourism, unite the planning and investment opportunities in economic, cultural and public progress. The symposium will examine the solutions and the responsibilities of basic principles and targets to supply the deficiency.”
