Apsara Tours brings an environment-friendly proposal to FITUR’09

Apsara Tours will introduce professionals and visitors attending FITUR’09 to an innovative environment-friendly tourist proposal: the “Green Tour Package.” With a view to reducing the carbon emissions produced when travelling by road, the transport company has favoured alternative resources which, also have a positive financial effect for the local communities.

To do so, the tours proposed in this programme will be carried out by bicycle, elephant, horse or ox, with a view to cutting down on transport by bus or car, which will only be employed when distances or the geography so require. Consequently, the company aims to achieve energy efficiency and environment-friendly tourism so as to respect the local environment.

The programme provides visitors with first-hand information, allowing them to learn about, discover and enjoy the environment as much as possible. With added surprises that maximise the programme, Apsara Tours launches this proposal for green-minded travellers and hopes to become an engine that will fuel the local communities, taking travellers to areas that are of special interest given their amazing landscapes or cultural offers.

The “Green Tour Package” is an innovative product that is based on a philosophy that champions a strong environmental responsibility. It will be showcased at the International Tourism Trade Fair and hopes to become the backbone of the offers designed by the Cambodian road transport company, which offers package tours around the East.
