The first Bulgarian Internet portal for real time tourism reservations for different world destinations hotelbg was presented in Sofia. It provides the user with information in different language about the picked resort or settlement, its history and famous faces and places. The reservations are made immediately and the system automatically provides the tourists with the information whether there are vacant places.
The chair of the Bulgarian Hoteliers and Restaurateurs Association Blagoy Ragin specified that almost 70% of the reservations in the US are made through the Internet, whereas in Europe their number is 30%.
The new portal will be presented to the Bulgarian tourism representatives on June 3 and 4. So far 3,000 Bulgarian hotels and other accommodation organizations have been included in the system.
