Gateway cities such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Paris continue to be negatively impacted by economic challenges affecting corporate travel, especially travel from the United States, said Jan Tissera, vice president of international sales for TravelCLICK. Meanwhile, the increase in intra-European travel has contributed to the positive room night growth for Madrid, Brussels, Barcelona and Stockholm. Based on recent trends, we`re optimistic that more markets will experience gains in the fourth quarter.
