Emirates Airline launches its third daily service from London Gatwick to Dubai, giving its customers greater flexibility with travel plans. The launch comes four months earlier than originally planned, thanks to ever-increasing demand from customers.

Three-class Airbus A330-200 aircraft will be used on the new flight EK10, leaving London at 21:15 and landing in Dubai at 07:15 next morning. Return flights EK9 leave Dubai for London Gatwick at 15:00, arriving at 19:40. All times are local.

The award-winning airline already offers two daily Boeing 777 services between Gatwick and Dubai, with departures from the East Sussex airport 10:00 and 14:00.

The new Gatwick frequency complements Emirates` three services a day from Heathrow, two daily flights from Gatwick and Manchester and daily departure from Birmingham.

Emirates provides excellent connections to 67 cities in 47 countries via the Middle East`s undisputed tourism and commerce hub, thanks to continuing expansion of its network.

Most notably, the new Gatwick flights connect closely with Emirates` services to the Australian cities of Sydney and, from 26th October, Brisbane.

Mohammed Shareef A. Raheem, Emirates` UK & Ireland Manager, said: The growth of our UK business has been rapid and this ninth daily Emirates service, our third from Gatwick, represents the next phase of our on-going expansion.

With our new flight, we will offer a choice of morning, afternoon and evening departures from Gatwick, providing more connections from the South East to our fast-growing global network. In particular, Britons travelling `down under` from Gatwick will benefit from fast and convenient travel through our Dubai hub to Australia`s major cities.

Roger Cato, BAA Gatwick`s Managing Director, said: We are delighted that Emirates have launched a third daily service to Dubai. It is really important route for Gatwick as it provides our passengers with a connection through to the Far East and Australia. It is tremendous to see such an ever-increasing demand for the route and it is great news to see it go from

strength to strength.

Emirates is promoting its presence at Gatwick with a major sponsorship for solus internal branding of First Class carriages on the Gatwick Express rail link to London Victoria, and First and Business Class customers will be offered free First Class travel on the Gatwick Express.
