EFCT will hold its 20th summer school from 26 to 30 August in Berlin. The EFCT Summer school is targeted to for all professionals working in Convention bureaux, Tourist offices, Congress Centres, Airlines, Hotels DMCs, PCOs and Meeting Planners.

Established 20 years ago, the Summer School has become one of the pivotal events in the meetings industry’s educational calendar. This intensive 3-day seminar is organised for people working in all sectors of the conference marketplace every year.
The aim is to train professionals with the latest marketing tools and help them develop the knowledge and skills required for a successful career in conference, meeting and event management.
The Summer School is driven by highly experienced teachers from many professional backgrounds and countries and the faculty includes senior EFCT personalities as well as keynote speakers from the meetings industry sector.
Practical educational sessions are complemented by hands-on demonstrations and site inspections. The programme also allows time for networking with colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds.
Berlin was an obvious location for the event. Over the last few years it has developed into an international exhibition and congress metropolis and is being viewed increasingly in the congress sector as a shop window between Eastern and Western Europe.
