European Live events consortium XPOSERV International has kick-started 2007 with the opening of new offices in Dubai. “We hope our new base will prove the perfect vehicle for entering the rapidly-expanding Middle East business market, especially in Dubai and Abu Dhabi,” said Philip Shuker, Director with XPOSERV International.
“We have affiliate companies in Australia, North America and the UK,” added Shuker, “and this move will help us to gain a powerful global presence in another highly active area.”
“There is a phenomenal amount of growth in the business travel sector across the UAE – including new convention and exhibition facilities – and this is bound to be reflected in a rapid upswing in related events,” Shuker said.
XPOSERV International is a consortium of European-based exhibition companies with experience in live events, exhibitions and experiential marketing.
The timing could not be better say Shuker. Huge new developments include the Dubai World Trade Centre District and Dubai Exhibition City, both of which were unveiled in December by the Dubai World Trade Centre. They will involve the dramatic transformation of two prime real estate sites into an enhanced central business district and an entirely new entrepreneurial park. The aim is to create a new business district to rival those of Singapore, London and New York.
Plans for Dubai Exhibition City – the region`s first integrated business, event, trade and retail destination – will provide a campus-style office park, a major retail complex, eight international-standard hotels, and a trade hub for international companies to permanently showcase their products.
