The recently enlarged European Union is the largest tourism destination and market worldwide. With the objective to enhance the cooperation of stakeholders in tourism, the European Commission initialised the annually organised European Tourism Forum.
2004 is already the 3rd occasion for the leading representatives from the tourism industry, civil society, international organisations, European, national and regional institutions and authorities to discuss the challenges of the sector.
Hungary – in cooperation with the European Commission and with the involvement of the European tourism sector – will be organising the European Tourism Forum 2004, on 15-16 October 2004, in Budapest.
Internal market for services in EU25, Employment and training in the tourism industry and New trends in tourism will be the main issues of this event that is expected to involve about 500 participants.
The working languages of the Forum will be English, French, German and Hungarian. Simultaneous translation will be provided.
