Even more Germanwings flights for the summer 2006

The addition of new flights in the Summer Timetable 2006 is continued for Germanwings. As of March 26th of the coming year, the low-cost airline will become the first German carrier to connect Stuttgart with the capital of Russia, Moscow. Once a week, a Germanwings aircraft will land on the newly renovated, ultra-modern Vnukovo Airport, which is located 30 km from the city center and is ideally connected to it through highway, train, but also buses and taxis. The flight will leave Stuttgart airport at 15.00 Saturday afternoon and will land in Moscow at 20.00 in the evening of the same day. Stuttgart thus becomes Germanwings` third hub in Germany, after Cologne/ Bonn and Berlin, to be connected with the Russian capital.

Furthermore, the new daily flight (except Saturdays) from Stuttgart to Paris is already available for booking and particularly convenient for passengers from Thessaloniki. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, passengers from Thessaloniki will arrive in Stuttgart at 15.55 in the afternoon (departure from Thessaloniki at 14.25), and will comfortably be able to board on the flight to Paris that leaves Stuttgart at 18.45 and lands in the French capital at 19.55. Both flights, from Stuttgart to Moscow and Paris, which are scheduled for the entire Summer Timetable, are already open for booking and they will be operated by aircraft type Airbus A319 of 144 seats.

But also Germanwings` network from Cologne is extended with new flights: the German low-cost carrier increases in its Summer Timetable the connections to the English capital, London, with the addition of a third flight three times a week. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, a flight around noon (departure from Cologne at 14.15 on Monday and Wednesday and at 12.40 on Friday) will complete the already existing morning and evening flights, increasing the choices and the flexibility for passengers.

In their Summer Timetable 2006, (from March 26 to October 28), Germanwings will connect Athens, Thessaloniki and Heraklion in Crete with Germany.
