Scheduled airlines are planning to offer 4,635 departures per week at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) for the Summer Timetable 2007, which goes into effect on March 25 – an increase of 0.4 percent on the corresponding timetable last year. This includes a four-percent rise in non-stop flights to intercontinental destinations to 970 weekly departures for the new timetable period.

The Summer Timetable 2007 will feature a total of 129 airlines providing scheduled passenger services at FRA to 307 destinations in 109 countries, including 138 intercontinental destinations.

TUIfly will be flying to two new destinations in Italy: Bari and Naples. Iberia will be offering daily flights to Seville in southern Spain. Condor’s summer schedule will include a weekly service to the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean, which has not been served regularly from FRA since 2004. Lufthansa will operate three weekly non-stop flights to Doha, which previously could be reached with Lufthansa only via Abu Dhabi or Kuwait.
