Greece offers additional subsidies for travel from Visegrad countries

The Hellenic Tourism Organization (EOT<.>) and the Development Ministry offer additional subsidies to traffic coming from the Visegrad<.> countries (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) by road. Up until the recent decision, toll-free entrance applied only to traffic from Bulgaria, Adriatic ports and Yugoslavia. The subsidy applies from August 15 till October 31.
In early June, the tourism organization announced that six thousand drachmas per arrival in group travel will be reimbursed to foreign tour operators who bring these groups to Greece from the Visegrad countries by either land or sea between the dates June 15 and September 30 of this year.
