Greenwich launches Attractions Pass for travel trade

Maritime Greenwich World Heritage Site has launched a new Travel Trade Pass, making it easier for the trade to access its wide range of attractions when conducting recce visits to the area.

The complimentary Pass gives each member of the travel trade free entry to 14 top Greenwich attractions including The Royal Observatory Greenwich, Peter Harrison Planetarium and The Wernher Collection at Ranger’s House. Greenwich Theatre and British Music Experience offer the Pass holder-plus-one complimentary entry.

Where attraction entry is already free, Pass holders will be offered added extras which range from a guided tour or discounted lunch.

Accommodation and transport providers are also involved in the scheme such as Docklands Light Railway which will offer Pass holders a free day travelcard as well as the four-star Devonport House hotel which is offering 20% off the price of a room.

Greenwich has invested in the Pass scheme to create a more streamlined approach to help the travel trade better plan and undertake familiarisation trips to Greenwich. By combining entry to attractions with transport options and accommodation, the travel trade will have an ideal opportunity to gain first hand experience of what their customers can experience in Greenwich.
