Huge demand sees additional Bulgaria flights added for summer 2012

The 2nd edition Balkan Holidays 2012 brochure includes six additional departures from Norwich International to Bourgas, Bulgaria. Direct flights will now commence on Sunday 20th May and operate weekly through to 23rd September.

This year Bulgaria was once again voted top of the Post Office Family Holiday Report for value for money partly because whilst it is part of the EU, it is out of the Euro monetary zone so not affected by the weakening pound.

Andrew Bell, the airport’s Chief Executive commented: “Bulgaria has proven to be a hugely popular destination for the holidaymakers in East Anglia and we are delighted that Balkan Holidays has taken the opportunity to increase their flights from Norwich and operate weekly from May to September to meet this demand”.
