Iberia boosts seat supply to Beirut by 59%

In July and August Iberia will use 200-seat Boeing 757s on its flights between Madrid and Beirut

In July and August Iberia will use 200-seat Boeing 757s on its flights between Madrid and Beirut, instead of the 126-seat Airbus A-319s it now flies on the route. The change means an increase in seat supply of nearly 59%.

This change is in response to the success of the new Monday, Thursday and Saturday Madrid-Beirut service launched on March 28th. Iberia is the sole airline to fly direct from Spain to the Lebanese capital.

The flights leave Madrid at 23:45 h. and reach at 05:15 h., the following morning. The return flights leave Beirut at 06:45 h. on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and reach Madrid at 11:00 h. The Madrid-Beirut flight takes about four-and-a-half hours and the return flight takes about five hours and fifteen minutes.
