Invisage Creative Services launches new versions of industry-leading mobile event apps

Invisage Creative Services has added extensive new features to the latest version of its core products FollowMe and EventLink including an option for organisers to include presenter posters and speaker abstracts right in the app.

Delivering a feature-rich native app for events, Invisage’s FollowMe and EventLink products are relied on by some of the world’s largest trade and consumer events. These products are offered turn-key on iPhone, iPad, Android, and BlackBerry. Invisage also offers a Mobile Web version as well as a web-based Event Content Management tools.

Owner of Invisage, Darren Edwards said "It is our vision to perfect the event experience and deliver creativity, leading-edge thinking, experience and technology solutions for meetings, conventions and tradeshows around the world. Large and content rich events require a native app and we are committed to ongoing development of our market leading Event Apps in order to ensure that our clients continue to receive premium, well developed, conference and exhibition solutions.”

New Features
Invisage continues to innovate and add new features to its proven Event Apps.
– Social Integration: EventLink and FollowMe now include complete integration with your social networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. What this means is you can extend the life and reach of your event by pushing content out into your social networks. Twitter integration is also a valuable tool for live audience participation. These features make the app perfect for business events of all formats.
– Abstracts, papers, and poster sessions: EventLink and FollowMe now provide the ability for sessions/events to have associated papers in a tappable list. This allows for bookmark-able events to link straight to the papers being discussed as well as having their own list of speakers/presenters independent of the authors. The list of poster sessions displays the title, dates and times, and location of the poster session. Tapping a poster session will open up the detail of the poster session which will include the title, dates and times, location, description, and aA  list of the posters. The list of posters will be links to the presentation.
– Speaker Presentations: EventLink and FollowMe also provide the ability for speakers to include a PDF version of the session presentation right in the app. Presentations can be pre-loaded or uploaded in real-time following each session through an online CMS.
– Native iPad support: Until recently you have always been able to view iPod apps on an iPad at full screen by doubling up the display. EventLink Deluxe and FollowMe now provide native iPad support in full HD. This new feature makes navigating, interacting, viewing posters and note taking within the app a breeze.

"Addition of these new features is exciting news for Invisage but more importantly for our clients wanting to digitize their events," said Edwards. Combining posters, abstracts and speaker presentations into an already featured filled event app is great for the environment, great for collaboration and great for the events bottom line. "Development has not stopped here thought for our native apps. So watch this space for more exciting features, soon to be released,” added Edwards.
