Kerzner International Limited announced that it has appointed Stephen Park as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Europe, a new position with specific responsibility for Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas; Atlantis, The Palm, Dubai; and a forthcoming Moroccan project.
Park, will report directly to Howard Karawan, President/Managing Director, Destination Resorts Division and will concentrate on expanding the European market for all outbound sales and marketing, as well as developing Europe as a key source market for the three resorts. He will also be responsible for building the sales and central reservation function for each property, building existing relationships with trade partners and forging new alliances across Europe.
Park joins Kerzner International from his most recent assignment as the General Manager of Norwegian and Orient Cruise ines (NCL), based in the UK. While working for NCL, Park was responsible for redefining its sales strategy and repositioning the brand, a position which saw him head up a fleet of fourteen globally-based luxury and mega cruise liners based in the UK, Ireland, Middle East, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Prior to joining NCL, Stephen spent twelve years at Disney in various capacities the most recent of which was as Marketing and Sales Director. As head of the UK based team, he developed strategic alliances with other relevant companies to increase sales and successfully implemented a number of marketing strategies which combined to establish the UK as Walt Disney Parks and Resorts number one international market.

Stephen Park will be based in the United Kingdom and employed under UK law.
