Iberia<.> has incorporated a new Airbus 320 christened with the name Cadaques into its fleet. The aircraft is designed to carry 150 passengers and will be used on medium and short-range routes in Spain and other European countries.

As part of its policy to publicise Spain`s natural beauty spots and places of interest, Iberia has now chosen to pay tribute to the charms of Cadaques (Costa Brava), which include its lovely vegetation, its beautiful beaches, its underwater life and the fact that the painter Dali lived there from 1920 until his death.

This is the seventh of the ten Airbus A320s that Iberia has ordered as part of its fleet renewal programme. Airbus A320s consume less fuel and are less noisy than other aircraft and allow for better customer service.
