Bulgarians have founded a National Tourism Board to try contain the negative trends in the local business.
Members of the body said that foreign tourists to the country have been decreasing in number over the last several seasons.
In the meantime the cost of Bulgaria`s hospitality services has also been going down. One of the main reasons was hectic construction at holiday spots, which produces noise and dirt, spoiling the relaxation experience of visitors, the Board says.
They are planning a campaign to promote Bulgaria, including at international tourism exhibitions.
