Sabre Hellas received an honor for the beautiful aesthetics of its stand at the annual tourism exhibition “PHILOXENIA 2003” that was held for the 14th year in Thessalonica between October 30th and November 2nd, 2003. Helexpo, the host of the exhibition, handed the honor, based on structural perfection of the exhibitory space, its operational and ergonomical layout, the originality of the presentation of the products and the general aesthetics.
During the “PHILOXENIA” exhibition, which was attended by lots of visitors, including travelers, tourist agents, companies and organizations, Sabre Hellas, one of the leading companies in the tourist industry, presented a new line of products, services and technological solutions.
More specifically, Sabre Hellas presented the following:

Sabre is in negotiations with its Internet providers in Greece (Otenet, Forthnet and SITA) in order to provide a new competitive technology that offers high speed services at low cost.
Electronic Ticketing:
The electronic ticketing system that has been operating for the past two months enters its final phase by providing NET Ticketing, Exchange, Online Refunds and Default Electronic.
- NET Ticketing: Issuance of E-tickets at NET prices.
- Exchange: Ability to change departure dates on an already issued ticket.
- Online Refunds: Option of Refund sending with just a simple E-ticket command.
- Default Electronic: Automated issuance of E-ticket.
E-Services:
Electronic support services for travel agencies with all the necessary tools, such as invoices and booking reports. It is expected to be available in Greek during November.
SABRE1Click Alpha Version
This is the future in user-friendliness and ease of reservation of positions and services through Sabre’s system. This operating system is a demo release of the final product.
Moreover, Sabre Hellas presented all of its already existing products such as: the complete collection of its online products for tourist agencies, Sabre.Res, ATB2 Ticketing, the Do-It-Yourself tools for web developers and of course the Greek Virtually There.
