A one-day seminar for European Airlines will be hosted by O’Shea International Consulting to help stamp out the credit card crime which is costing each airline an average of €750,000 a year.1 The Seminar which is taking place in London on Wednesday June 27th 2007, will focus on simple cost effective techniques that most airlines haven’t implemented to reduce credit card fraud on their websites by up to 80%.

At this one of it’s kind learning seminar, attendees will be introduced to former carders (people who commit fraud on websites), who has turned from ‘poacher to gamekeeper’, and a former credit card company employee who will dismiss the myth that the merchant is responsible for 100% of credit card fraud on their site.

Other speakers will detail the IP blacklist, the IP addresses 90% of fraudsters use, airlines that block these will be on their way to saving an average of €600,000 p.a., as well as the software that costs less than €500 that will reduce airlines exposure to online credit card fraud.

Offline fraud, and protecting your customers data from your own employees committing fraud are topics that will be covered by Credit Card Fraud Prevention Specialist, Dominic Rose.

The organisers believe that managers attending the seminar can use the practical advise to cut fraud by 80% within weeks of attending their seminar, with only small upgrades of their existing e-commerce systems.
