Big Business, Big Fun and Big Opportunities to learn and grow the attractions business is the theme of Euro Attractions Show (EAS) 2007 being held 30 January – 1 February in Seville, Spain at the FIBES Convention Center. Seville is also the home of Isla Magica amusement park which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2007. As the primary gathering place for attractions owners and operators in Europe, the three-day event features product exhibits, keynote sessions, educational sessions, and social and networking events.



The exhibit floor will showcase a variety of product categories such as amusement rides, food and beverage, consultancy services, theming and design, and “back of house” services like ticket sales and information technology. Innovative and well-respected industry names such as Vekoma, Sally Corp., Action Park Multiforma Grupo, S.L., Gerstlauer Elektro GmbH, 3-D Branded Attractions, ABC Rides Switzerland, Recreativos Presas, S.L., Bob’s Space Racers, Zamperla, Pax, Mack Rides GmbH & Co., Intamin Transportation Ltd., Premier Rides, Inc., Heimo Animated Attractions, Euroviva GmbH, Polifibra, Splash, Pro-Fab S.L., SAFECO, S.A., and Hafema Water Rides will be there.



The EAS 2007 education program boasts Big Ideas at the daily keynote sessions. Industry leaders such as Serge Naim of Compagnie des Alpes and Richard Golding of Parques Reunidos are scheduled to appear along with renowned author, business consultant and academic Luis Huete. Additional multilingual educational opportunities include facility tours to local attractions in Seville, roundtable discussions and a 4-day professional development program developed and sponsored by the Spanish Parks Association (AEPA).



EAS 2007 is supported by industry associations in Spain including AEPA, and AFEMO (Spanish Suppliers Association) as well as many European industry associations including: BALPPA (Great Britain), VDV (Germany), VDFU (Germany), RAAPA (Russia), SNELAC (France), BELGOPARKS (Belgium), FINNISH Parks Association (Finland), DSB (Germany), Club van Elf (The Netherlands), ANESV (Italy), SNF (Sweden), TEA (Europe), FFD (Denmark), EUROPARKS, and the Vienna Showmen’s Union (Austria).



EAS 2007 visitors represent owners, operators and managers from amusement and theme parks, carnivals, fairs, family entertainment centers, water parks, zoos and aquariums, museums and science centers, stadiums and arenas, campgrounds and holiday parks, casinos and gaming, and shopping centers and retailers.



Lamberto Fresnillo, Operative Secretary of (AEPA) stated: “We (AEPA) are really excited to host EAS 2007 in Spain. This show is a must for anyone doing business in the industry.”



EAS 2007 is closed to the general public. Exhibitors, registered attendees, and credentialed media can attend.
