Titan Airways introduces two additional Boeing 757s to fleet Plus new slim-line seats

Titan Airways, the London Stansted-based VIP charter specialist, is bolstering its fleet with the introduction of two additional Boeing 757s, taking the total number of 757s in the fleet to three.

Scheduled for delivery in spring 2012, the 757s will be painted in Titan Airways distinctive livery and the interiors finished to Titan’s very high standard. It is  anticipated they will be ready for service by May 2012.

“The new 757s have been purchased as part of our ongoing fleet renewal programme and our strategy for owning our own aircraft,” said Alastair Kiernan, Titan Airways Commercial Director. “The versatility of the 757, particularly given its size, range, payload and the flexibility of seating configurations, makes it a firm favourite with our clients and we are delighted to now offer these aircraft for short, medium or long-term lease and ad-hoc charter.”

In view of the new 757s, Titan Airways has also taken the decision to change the interior of its existing Boeing 757 and refurbish it with new slim-line seats. The new seats offer a much more modern design and increased flexibility with the three seat-configuration now able to transform into two seats with a central table that flips down at the press of a button and armrests that move centrally. This makes the two outer seats wider for more comfort, giving passengers a much improved experience and enabling Titan Airways to configure the aircraft cabin in a four abreast layout the entire length of the cabin if required  or individual rows to suit their clients’ exact requirements.

As with all the Titan Airways fleet, the new 757s will be available for short notice, rapid response charter and sub-charter. Titan Airways’ unique ‘Go Now’ policy guarantees that any of its fleet can be airborne within 60 minutes of flight confirmation.

Three-times winner of BACA’s prestigious passenger Charter Airline of the Year award, Titan Airways celebrates 24 years of passenger operations this year. The airline’s enviable reputation is built on its wealth of experience and attention to detail. Titan Airways bepoke charter service enables clients to tailor-make the travel itinerary from departure and arrival airports of their choice, utilising the airline’s fleet jet aircraft seating up to 265 passengers.
