MPI UK will be knocking down the communication barriers between meeting planners and venues next month with the chapter’s next educational seminar.

The seminar is part of MPI UK Chapter’s commitment to Pathways to Excellence, aiming to tackle relevant issues and raise the value of meetings. The interactive training seminar, designed & facilitated by Ann Holmes, CMM, aims to open a dialogue between venues and meeting planners helping to better understand each other’s needs and supply an optimal service to end users.

The session will include a pre dinner discussion on the questions both parties need to answer before doing business. It will continue throughout dinner, considering site inspections, contracts and operations and will conclude by looking at how planners and venues can monitor and evaluate performance and results for mutual advantage.

“Only through effective dialogue can all parties be sure of achieving a good Return on Investment. This session will assist them doing so,” commented Ann Holmes, CMM.

The event will take place 6 September 2004 –The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre.
