The teeming, colourful Indian city of Mumbai and the runaway success of fashionable Bollywood will be depicted at  World Travel Market`s Opening Ceremony on Monday 10 November at 11.30 am. Cast members of the London West End spectacular epic musical, `Bombay Dreams` will entertain live.

Performers from Andrew Lloyd Webber`s show which has taken London`s famous West End by storm with rave reviews, will provide a colourful ten-minute medley of songs on the World Travel Market Stage. The Opening Ceremony will also be relayed to the giant screens in the Central Boulevard.

The performance is supported by leading ticket agency, Group Line who are arranging a major `Bombay Dreams` ticket promotion during World Travel Market week (10 – 13 November), offering all exhibitors and pre-registered visitors the special price of £27.50 per ticket. The promotion saves £15 on each ticket for the show at London`s Apollo Victoria Theatre and is subject to availability.

Tickets will be sold online prior to the event and at the Group Line stand in the UK section UK13042. Log on to www.wtmlondon.com and click on the visiting section for further details and booking.

Fiona Jeffery, Group Exhibition Director, World Travel Market said that she was delighted that everyone attending World Travel Market this year will have a free opportunity to sample some of the very best entertainment that London has to offer.

“We are very grateful to our partners, The Really Useful Theatre Company and Group Line for their co-operation and goodwill.

“It is particularly relevant that the cast of `Bombay Dreams` forms part of our Opening Ceremony, this year Asia has seen the greatest expansion of any region exhibiting at World Travel Market.

“The region is increasing by more than 15% compared to last year, a great achievement and a measure of Asia`s determination to re-establish travel and tourism following the challenges and difficulties of the past two years. `Bombay Dreams` will be an appropriate means of celebrating Asia`s strong comeback.

“Andrew Lloyd Webber has for over 30 years conquered the world with his popular and groundbreaking approach to musical entertainment. As the producer of `Bombay Dreams`, with music by the phenomenal Indian composer, AR Rahman, he rewrites the history books once more.”

“`Bombay Dreams` opens up a new modern culture to the World Travel Market audience.”

“In just a few minutes, the cast of `Bombay Dreams` will bring delegates a hugely enjoyable flavour from a unique fusion of stage, film, television and contemporary music.”

The show tells the story of a young slum dweller who dreams of becoming a huge movie star and meets the beautiful daughter of one of Bollywood`s greatest film directors.
