Frankfurt Airport honored as “Best Airport in Europe” by Business Traveller Poland magazin

Polish business travelers and travel managers again voted Frankfurt Airport Europe’s most popular airport in 2015.

Readers of the renowned Business Traveller Poland trade publication have chosen Frankfurt Airport (FRA) as the “Best Airport in Europe” for the third consecutive year.

The Business Traveller Poland Awards have been held since 2013. To choose the winners, the magazine surveys business travelers and travel managers of Polish companies about their travel experiences and asked them to vote for the best service providers in 37 different categories (such as airports, airlines, hotels, or tour operators). The Business Traveller magazine is published in 13 languages.

When receiving the award in Poland’s capital Warsaw on February 17, 2016, Heiko Haffer-Bukovac of Fraport AG’s Sales & Customer Relations department said: “We are very delighted to have won for the third time in a row. We regard this award as a recognition for our achievements, but also as an incentive to continue our efforts. The award shows that our recent service enhancements have been positively perceived and recognized by our passengers.”

Frankfurt Airport’s ongoing service improvements are part of the “Great to have you here!” service quality program launched by Fraport AG with the aim of continuously enhancing the travel experience at Germany’s leading aviation hub. Examples include the recently opened (free) yoga rooms, free Wi-Fi across the terminals, relaxing “silent chairs”, as well as a huge range of top-quality shopping opportunities and restaurants. In 2015, Frankfurt Airport welcomed more than 61 million passengers.
