Skyscanner launches affiliate programme with unique industry-first creatives

Leading flight search engine, Skyscanner launches the Skyscanner Affiliate Programme, allowing web publishers to add Skyscanner’s online flight finding tools to their websites and earn commission at the same time. The affiliate programme allows publishers to generate revenue, help their visitors to fly cheaply, add unctionality to their own sites and work with a leading travel brand.

In addition to text links and standard creatives such as static banners, skyscrapers and leaderboards, Skyscanner’s interactive Flight Search panel allows visitors to browse and view a selection of the cheapest flight prices, whilst still on the publisher’s site. The unique creatives are highly configurable, enabling publishers to set up fixed routes or allow open ended searches.

The programme is ideal for all websites in the travel sector including airports, hotels, ski resorts, travel guides, blogs and forums. Publishers can expect high conversions due to Skyscanner’s simple, easy to use search engine and Skyscanner are offering an introductory revenue share of 75% (60% thereafter).

Barry Smith, Skyscanner co-founder commented on the new Skyscanner affiliate programme: "There has been huge demand for a Skyscanner affiliate programme from the online travel industry, so it’s with great excitement that we are now able to launch. One of the things that sets our programme apart from our competitors is our unique Search Panel creative – which we believe is a first for our industry. Webmasters not only earn commission for referrals, but also enhance their website functionality by allowing their users to browse a selection of prices before choosing a flight".
