StarCite announced that Michael Boult, currently president and chief executive officer, is stepping down from his position effective March 18th. Keith Forshew, chief operating officer, will lead the company while a search is completed for a new president and CEO. Mr. Boult will remain a member of the StarCite board of directors.
“Mike has done a terrific job as CEO. He was hired to lead StarCite’s expansion and position the company for future growth and he succeeded at accomplishing both of those goals,” said Doug Alexander, member of StarCite’s board of directors. “Over the course of the past year, StarCite has bolstered its global executive team in all operational areas and is well-positioned to handle a leadership transition. We are pleased to have such a strong COO in Keith Forshew, who brings a broad range of executive experience, leadership and vision to his new role.”

Mr. Forshew joined StarCite in May, 2007. Prior to StarCite he served as general manager of supply chain solutions at Click Commerce. Previously, Mr. Forshew was senior vice president of worldwide operations at Elance, a software as a service company. He received his Masters in Engineering from Southampton University in the UK and his Masters in Business Administration from Cornell University.
