Vacation.com closes in on 300 new members for 2011

Following a record-setting year in new member recruitment, Vacation.com, North America’s leading travel services marketing organization, has already welcomed 271 new members in the first three quarters of 2011-207 in the United States and 64 in Canada.

“Last year’s extraordinary growth in new members provided us with a strong, solid foundation that’s allowing us to grow even more this year,” said Vacation.com President John Lovell. “Many of our new members transferred directly from other consortia, while many more came from referrals from existing members.”

Vacation.com received a record-number of referrals from current members in 2011, though recruitment surged the most in Q3 after news broke at Vacation.com’s mid-year Conference about its new comprehensive air program, AirPRO.

“There is not one single reason we attract more agencies than other groups; there are many. Those many reasons, which include the industry’s best marketing and air programs, put Vacation.com in the unique position to satisfy the business needs of all agency types,” added Lovell.
