The downloadable application now features Costa’s new ship, Costa Favolosa, due to be launched this summer. Stunning images take you directly into the ship and provide 360 degree views of the spectacular new vessel.
New features also include 360 degree virtual tours of Costa Pacifica and Costa Serena, a new video focusing on the onboard wellness experience and a section for special offers.
Further technical features include:
- iOS 4.2 compatibility for multitasking
- A reduction in size of the app (50MB) for faster downloads
- A reduction in the video sizes, for faster downloads.
Following on from the success of its app, Costa Cruises is also releasing the Costa Fleet application for the Android market in order to reach the devices that use the Android operating system.
The already established iPhone app gives travellers a sneak preview of the ships before they embark on a trip of a lifetime. iPhone multimedia functions enable users to visit each ship and examine them with a 360° full-screen real virtual tour. Photo galleries and descriptions are also available, including cabins and suites, wellness areas, deck lidos, bars, restaurants, works of art, as well as hi-tech features like the Grand Prix and golf simulators, swimming pools with sliding roofs and giant screens and 4D cinemas.
